Weed Control

Don’t let weeds get in the way of a beautiful, healthy lawn. Not only are weeds unattractive, they also compete with grass for light, water, and nutrients, which can damage the health of your grass over time. Our weed control treatment prevents and gets rid of weeds such as:

• Crab grass
• Ground ivy
• Wild violets
• Buckhorn
• Plantain
• Chickweed
• And more

We use multiple broad spectrum herbicides to prevent and kill these and other common weeds. Throughout the year, we rotate the herbicides so weeds don’t become immune to the chemicals. Our early spring application includes a pre-emergent herbicide, to prevent weeds from sprouting so you don’t even see them. Throughout the growing season, broad spectrum herbicides kill weeds as they appear. Because the fight against weeds is an ongoing battle, we recommend 2-4 herbicide applications per year, typically combined with fertilizer treatment.
